2013 is a Presbyterian Youth Triennium Year!  High School Youth can apply to join the Providence Presbytery delegation to Purdue University July 16-20, 2013 for this amazing conference.  Only 14 slots are available so start talking to your youth now about Triennium.  If you would like someone to come to your high school youth group to talk about Triennium, show pictures, and answer questions, please contact me at kmcgregor@providencepres.org or 800-922-1609.  A flyer and application for the trip are available here.

Providence Presbytery is planning its third annual Confirmation Cluster to begin in January 2013.  Last year, ten youth from seven churches found it an enriching and faith-building experience.  Youth currently in 8th grade as well as those older who have not yet completed a confirmation process are eligible.   The church information packet for churches interested in participating will answer any questions that pastors, sessions, youth, and/or parents may have about the program.  Applications for participation in the cluster and a $50 deposit per youth are due by November 1.  Participating churches are asked to have a church representative serve on the cluster planning team.  This can be the pastor or an elder from your church.  There will be a planning meeting for all participating churches on Thursday evening, November 8 at 7:00 pm at the presbytery office.  Church representatives are asked to attend.  For more information, contact Kathryn McGregor at kmcgregor@providencepres.org or 800-922-1609.
