Who I Am ... I grew up as a Presbyterian in Columbia, SC. I have a BS degree from Clemson University in Accounting and an MA + 30 degree from USC in School Psychology. I worked as a school psychologist in North Carolina prior to the birth of my first child. I was a stay-at-home mom for 8 years until accepting the position of Resource Center Coordinator here at the Presbytery.
I am currently working toward Christian Educator certification and am excited to be serving the presbytery in this expanded role as Associate for Education and Resourcing. I am married to Rev. Sam McGregor. We lived in Siler City, NC prior to moving to Rock Hill in 2001. We have three children, Rebecca, Mary Kathryn, and James. I am a member of Allison Creek Presbyterian Church, where my husband is pastor. I enjoy volunteering at my children's schools, exercising, and reading.
I am available to come to your church to assist you with the following:
- Consultations with Sessions or CE Committees regarding Christian Education planning, administration, and evaluation
- Curriculum development and evaluation Ideas for short-term studies for children, youth and adults
- Church book club suggestions
- Preparation of displays for workshops, local church events, and retreats
- Presentations on the Resource Center or particular books or subjects Assistance in organizing local church libraries
- Providing a bookmobile for your church preschool, day care or mother's morning out program
