Providence Presbytery provides many opportunities for Leadership Development in all areas of ministry.
The Presbytery staff members are available to come to your church and do leadership development events for your church leaders. Contact
Inez Glasgow and she will put you in touch with the appropriate staff person. There is no charge for their services.
The following leadership development events are offered during the year:
- The E3 event: "Educating, Equipping and Empowering God's People for Ministry" is Providence Presbytery's leader development training event. It is held in January every year and offers training workshops in a variety of ministry and skill areas.
- Each spring and fall the S.C. Lay School of Theology offers in depth training in areas such as stewardship, worship, Christian education, etc. These are held at White Oak Conference Center.
- The Metrolina Educator Connection is held each spring and fall. This is a three hour workshop on some area of ministry with an emphasis on its educational implications.
- One time leader development events are held throughout the year on a variety of ministry areas.
