In the Know is the weekly e-newsletter providing news and resources of interest to pastors, officers, educators and congregants in Providence Presbytery’s five-county wide community of congregations.  A subscription to In the Know is available by clicking subscribe on the In The Know page or by emailing jill@providencepres.org with “In the Know subscription” in the subject line.  You may also access In the Know on the Providence Presbytery website on the In the Know page.  Issues are saved here in .pdf format.  A 3-month archive is also available at this location.

Presbyterian Times, published three times a year, roughly coordinating with stated presbytery meetings, is a feature-rich newspaper is mailed to all members of the Providence Presbytery congregations. You are invited to submit articles and story ideas for the Presbyterian Times at any time.  Please email Jill Wilson with your ideas or article summaries.  The deadline for submission to Presbyterian Times is usually 3 weeks after any stated presbytery meeting.  The most recent issues of the Times can be found online on the Presbyterian Times page.  Issues are archived in .pdf format.

Facebook is a social networking took Providence Presbytery is using to communicate with its constituents. Check out our profile. Become a friend and join some of our groups. Providence Presbytery will be using facebook to communicate with facebook friends about upcoming events. Join facebook to utilize this communication tool.

BLOGS

Web Logs (BLOGS) were developed at Providence Presbytery to provide specific information in a timely manner.  Our current blogs are:  Happening Now, breaking news affecting Providence Presbytery’s community; MissionLive, broadcasts from the mission field; and Here’s How, educational and training materials for use within the presbytery.  These web logs are available for communication with and among congregants in our Presbytery.  Because of the software we are using, multiple contributors may post to the sites.  If you are interested in posting, join www.wordpress.com and contact Jill Wilson at jill@providencepres.org.
