Presbyterian Women

Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy spirit, we commit ourselves:

  • to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study;
  • to support the mission of the church worldwide;
  • to work for justice and peace, and
  • to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and witnesses to the promise of God's kingdom."

Some of the special focuses of Presbyterian Women are: The Birthday Offering, Thank Offering, and the Fellowship of the Least Coin.

PWCT is searching for officers to be installed at the Spring Gathering.  If you are interested in serving the Lord through PW, please contact Graceann Jones, Moderator of Search.  Her email is:  gracecjones@windstream.net

Presbyterian Women have two Annual Events: The Spring Gathering and the Fall Spiritual Retreat.

The 2011 Annual PW Spiritual Gathering was held October 1, 2011 at Bethelwoods.  Attendance was excellent.  Sarah Hager led the program on "Spiritual Practices" and the worship service.  She shared ways to practice spirituality in our daily lives.
The next PW event will be the Spring Gathering on April 14, 2012 at Covenant Presbyterian Church.  Please mark your calendars.
