Strategic Planning Help/ Visioning

In today’s rapidly changing times congregations need to revise and update their vision and strategic plans at least every three years. The staff of Providence Presbytery is available to assist our congregations in this task. They will come to your church and lead you through a visioning/strategic planning process. The process will be tailored for your unique situation. Some processes are extensive, involving the entire congregation. Others may be more focused and involve only core leadership. There is no charge for this.

Strategies for such planning can include:

• Writing or revising your vision statement
• Writing or revising your mission statement
• Developing a set of strategic goals for accomplishing your mission
• Developing specific action steps for each strategic goal
• An analysis of your congregation’s culture
